Conversely, the symptoms of these two maladies share significant overlap and are frequently confused for one another. If you do indeed have both you may be suffering symptoms of both. Not likely but may : Gall bladder disease can coexist with reflux and also may aggravate physiologic reflux. Removal of a symptomatic gall bladder may be associated with improvement in reflux symptoms by eliminating gastric stasis caused by the sick GB thus indirectly improving reflux symptoms however there is a crossover between GB and reflux symptoms in that the two diseases may mimic each other in certain instances
