A member asked:

In blood work is a pt time of 10.1 normal? if not what could be the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Each lab will give a reference range for each PT depending on the reagent batch. Usually nowadays it's given as an international normalized ratio. Reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside. If your physician isn't concerned, I wouldn't be either.
