Yes: Yes it is rare but serious side effect of this Muscle Relaxant. Do NOT increase dose without speaking with your doctor. If prescribed by a new physician do LET them know about your history of arrhythmias

Robax or robaxin (methocarbamol): Is a skeletal muscle relaxant, and may cause CNS depression. It is not a stimulant. If you have a history of abnormal cardiac rhythm, as always, consult with your doctor regarding the risks/benefits and side effects of robaxin (methocarbamol) in your case. Good luck!
