OTC Pepcid (famotidine): Try a few days of OTC Pepcid (famotidine)...but only for a few days..if no help go see your doctor.

Try an H2 blocker: Some people develop heartburn after a stomach flu even without vomiting, because the stomach flu may have caused gastroesophageal reflux, and irritation to the esophagus. I suggest try famotidine 20mg twice a day or ranitidine 150mg twice a day, both are over the counter. In addition, avoid alcohol, caffeine, cigarettes, large meals, and fatty meals. Also, Gaviscon tabs are a wonderful antacid.
