Need more tests: The ANA is a rather nonspecific screening test for autoimmune disease. It can be high in healthy individuals, as well in some autoimmune or connective tissue diseases. You will need to see a Rheumatologist to have further testing and determine if this is significant. Good luck!

Confusing ANA : It really gets confusing with the ANA patterns due to the overlap of several Connective Tissue Disease. HOMOGENEOUS or smooth could be seen in several CTD and patients taking certain meds as well. Speckled could be Lupus SLE. You really need to sit down with a rheumatologist and a qualified pathologist to make it relevant to your medical history and symptoms. Clinical CORRELATION required.
