Halitosis & mouthwas: Halitosis cannot be cured by mouthwash. Halitosis can be caused by decay, periodontal disease, poor oral hygiene and build-up of plaque, dry mouth, smoking, and other mouth infections. Halitosis can also be caused by dietary choices, and syatemic diseases. Mouthwash can only temporarily mask odors.
