Cardiac MR vs Echo: Cardiac MRI gives us additional information about Heart's vascular structure. While ECHO is an excellent study to look at the function of the heart as well its valve. MRI can be specially helpful if cardiac sarcoidosis or Amyloidosis or myocarditis is suspected. talk to your doctor it will depend what exactly is suspected to determine which study is BETTER FOR YOU.
