Finger Swelling : Stiffness and swelling of finger after waking up from sleep can be because of pressure on the arm during sleep So if it goes away soon then you do not have to worry about If it is persistent and does not go away you could have early osteoarthritis or just synovitis So it depends how bad it is if you have to do any thing about it or not Good luck
