Tonsil stones: There's a lot of misinformation about "exudate", "collagen masses" and so forth. If the tonsils feel normal otherwise, these are tonsilloliths and they are a minor nuisance. The safest way to remove them is with a water pick, a mirror and a penlight.

Tonsillolithiasis: If your throat doesn't hurt or if you don't otherwise feel infected, these could be tonsillar stones, a condition called tonsillolithiasis - completely benign and of no real concern.

Tonsils: The white spots could be a sign of an infection, but you should be sick with sore throat, difficulty swallowing, fever, etc. If you feel fine, but have white spots, this is usually tonsilloliths-white concretions that form in the crypts or crevices of the tonsils. It is a harmless condition, but can be annoying due to some discomfort and sometimes halitosis. Good oral hygiene can sometimes help.
