No effect: superficial varicosities are not dangerous during pregnancy ( although they will tend to worsen in pregnancy)

Pregnancy/veins: Ther presence of veins during pregnancy does not mean that you will develop clots in your veins. I am not clear if you have spider, reticular or varicose veins. Wearing support hose doing your pregnancy especially in the last 2 trimesters will help.
