Likely filariasis: You probably have the wrong spelling. You must see a physician to be properly treated. The disease causes swelling in different parts of the body typical reffered to as "Elephantiasis" from destruction of the lymph glands. Ivermectim/ Diethycarbazine are the treatments of choice. Pls see a doctor in your country.

Filariasis: Depending upon the type and severity of Filariasis, various medications in the categories of anti-helminthics and antibiotics are used, Some of the drugs are Diethycarbamazine (DEC), Ivermectin, Mebendazole and the antibiotic Doxycycline. You should visit and Infectious Disease specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

Doxycycline: Doxycycline for 6 weeks.Bedrest with elevation of the swollen leg. Also see a doctor if possible. Best wishes.
