Knee DJD: Depending on the severity of DJD the conservative treatment includes application of heat & analgesic creams, NSAID 's , cortisone injection , glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate, viscosupplement injection in the knee, knee brace, pt, use of cane etc. If the conservative treatment fails then you consider surgical options.

Possible joint mouse: Could be joint mouse interfering with motion, . Evaluation for associated calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease would be helpful. Can to opposite side to take stress off the knee would help. Rheumatologic evaluation could identify specific medications to consider.
