What kind of doctor should i see to get my athletes foot treated? a podiatrist, or is a family doctor fine?

Many options for you: Athlete's foot is caused by a fungal infection on the feet and/or toes. This can easily be treated by family physicians, internists, dermatologists, or podiatrists.

Both can do the job.: There are many types and causes of skin rashes. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
