Hearing loss?: The first question that has to be addressed is do you have a hearing loss? If not the pain is probably referred pain and the most common cause of referred pain to the side of the face is from the teeth, jaw and or jaw muscles. If there is fullness, pressure and hearing loss, see your physician. You really need a diagnosis before your can know what to do.
