Could also be...: I agree with Dr. Saghafi. We must also consider a low grade or atypical form of trigeminal neuralgia, which can present as chronic or episodic pain along the 3 trigeminal nerve divisions--causing all of the symptoms that you mention. Nerve modulating medication is available if exam findings are suggestive of this.
