Not normal: It is not normal. It could be an infection in his prostate or something else. Best to see another doctor, perhaps a urologist

Specialist: This isn't rare and usually you never find the cause. If he's been seen and cleared by a urologist, stop worrying. I think it's caused by little hemangiomas that have vessels break from the intense pressure. Congratulations to you both on your relationship.
