Portable scope: Your ENT doctor will use a scope that is portable. This allows him/her to look at better detail and may allow him to treat you better.

Magnify structures: He will use a small scope with a magnifier. so he can get a better view. It will not be invasive.and similar to how he has looked in your ear before but with more magnification.
