Im having irregular and prolonged periods. my gyn is going to make an hysteroscopy, in may my hemoglobin was 13, ive been 18 days this month, with clots some days, could my hemoglobin be really low?

Sounds like: She is looking for endometriosis . I assume fibroids have been ruled out . At least you are not anemic and that is a good thing!!!

Depends: You've been bleeding 18 days straight? If you are bleeding heavily plus the clots for that many days straight, it's possible your hemoglobin has dropped. If it were "really" low, though, you would likely be having other symptoms like shortness of breath upon exertion or at rest, fatigue, increased pulse, palpitations, and sometimes dizziness. Is your hysteroscopy soon?You may want blood count soon
