You may need: a "medical D and C" ( the use of hormones to induce a period aiming to release a large amount of "lining" of your womb) CONSULT with your GYN..BTW IRON deficiency can CAUSE heavy periods!!!! You might take Iron supplements for a few months.... Hope this helps! Dr Z
