How long before your drops help our ear infection and allows fluid out?

Not sure: If you have a swimmer's ear infection, the drops should usually help within 2-3 days. Stay out of the pool until the pain stops. Don't put cotton or Qtips in the ears- it will just push wax and other substances deeper into the ear canal.

Confusing question: Drops may help with an outer "swimmers ear" but there is no significant fluid that will "come out". Overhydration can dry out, but you will not see it drain. Middle ear infections are marked by retained fluid. These will not respond to drops unless these drops are used to open a plug in a PE tube.
