Pain: Have you seen a rheumatologist? Treating rheumatoid arthritis requires anti-inflammatory medications and sometimes immune suppression medications to control the inflammation, just you will have less pain. Pain medications can be used to temporarily relieve your symptoms but it is not the main treatment. Discuss it further with your local physician
