Medications: For rheumatoid arthritis management has included various medications such as the following: NSAID, antimalarials, gold, pencicillamine, steroids, cytotoxic agents. Newer TNF alphp drugs such as Remicade have been used more frequently. Some people have found dietary changes helpful and I have had some patient find food allergy testing of benefit.

RA is a poorly understood disease, that waxes and wanes without known reason, and the "new" drugs are very expensive and promoted by multi-national companies, and foolish doctors, and have many complications and an unacceptably relative high death rate. All treatments are rotated with the hope of some improvement and relief of pain, and none have any scientific basis. You can get better pain....
