Nailed It.: Not much you can do. It is wait and see time now. The big question is just how much the dropped laptop has damaged the nail root. If no damage to root, then the nail should grow back normal with no thickening or shape change. If the root has been damaged, the nail may grow back with a different look. The new nail can take months to a year , depending on if the root is stunted, to grow back.
