I dropped my lap top on my big toenail it came off how do i treat it?

If no damage to root, then the nail should grow back normal with no thickening or shape change. If the root has been damaged, the nail may grow back with a different look. The new nail can take months to a year , depending on if the root is stunted, to grow back.
