Nearly normal.: Normal heart rates vary considerably from person to person. We consider a normal HR as 60-100 bpm. Aerobic conditioning (or lack thereof), fevers or intercurrent illness, volume status (ie dehydration etc) all can play a role in the heart rate response as well. 80-100 is in the normal range.
