To do or not ??: The "tube" is a temporary substitute for the non-working Eustachian tube in infants.With ET in kids blocked, mucous made by the ear inner walls accumulates & acts as food for germs leading to infections.Tubes prevent the mucous from accumulating. No fluid= no infection=better hearing=better language development= less lost nights sleep.Do nothing= ?
