A member asked:

After bladder injury during tlh, repaired at time, sent home with cath and will do x rays with dye tomorrow. what should i expect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Full bladder: They will instill contrast , sometimes referred to as "dye" through the catheter to fill your bladder then take a picture. If there is no leakage of dye to the outside of the bladder, then they will know that it is OK to remove the catheter,in other words the bladder repair has healed. It sounds like you are in very good hands.
