Unlikely rx interact: Unlikely that this is drug drug interactions causing hypoglycemic events. Plaquenil does not causes decrease in serum glucose. Look for other causes. Why do you take Plaquenil? Usually used for anti-inflammatory Rheumatoid arthritis or Lupus treatment. Also Glucophage (metformin) is safe drug and doesn't drop glucose levels precipitously. Check out your kidney function to ascertain no sudden decrease functio
