Treatment for cause: The optimal treatment for you depends on the cause of the antral gastritis in the first place. There is technically no official cure for this condition, but there are a number of things that can be done, mainly dietary, to control your symptoms. Between proper diet and certain medications, you can have the condition well controlled. You will need to cut back on your alcohol intake.Talk to a GI doc

Usually yes: I am not a gastroenterologist, but here is my opinion: Whether "completely curable" depends on underlying cause. Most common causes are related to alcohol use, H pylori infection (whoever did your EGD probably will recommend antibiotics for this) and many less common causes. I recommend simply taking your doctors advice for this common problem.

Yes : Key is avoid certain foods like alcohol, citrus, spicy, tomato based, citrus, vinegar, chocolate, hot temp foods, caffeine. Proton Pump Inhibitors help a lot, but long term use of them-years, can cause issues too like lowering B12 levels and other minerals like calcium.
