Teeth whitening at a dentist's office may take 1 hour in 1 visit but, in place of it, home bleaching trays (via dds) takes longer but lasts longer?

Types of whitening: Both "last" the same time. In office bleaching is more for patients who want an immediate effect and don't want to bother with wearing the trays for days to weeks. However, the cost is more reasonable with the take home trays and you keep the trays to reuse in the future, and then only need to spend a small amount on fresh bleaching gel. My patients love the cost, ease and results with the trays.

In short, yes. : You have much more control over how white your teeth get with the take home trays. With in office 1 hour treatment only, the result is all you get. Take home trays, you can whiten to the shade you like and will likely last longer because you are whitening theFront and back of your teethin office only whitens the front side of your teeth. Happy whitening!!!
