Micro hematuria. single red lesion found on bladder.cytology says papillary fragments noted. doc said that means possible low grade.49 yrold never smoked.what are the odds this is primary cis cancer.

Microhematuria: Unlikely to have primary CIS, but always need the pathology report for the evidence. Other causes of microhematuria: enlarged prostate, stones, urethral stricture, infection, arteriovenous malformation, and cancer.

Biopsy: Biopsy is necessary to diagnose CIS. Please see a urologist and you will be advised to have cysoscopy & biopsies. Good luck.
