Went today got urinalysis did a cytology on it it came back atypical urethial cells and microscopic hematuria. should be scared? can it mean other things than cancer? no symptoms. says rbc cannot exclude low grade neoplasm. ct show anything?

Microhematuria: I assume you're seeing a urologist for evaluation and advice regarding further testing. Absence of protein in the urine rules out glomerulonephritis. A rectal examination of the prostate & an ultrasound of the kidneys& urinary bladder are important noninvasive tests for you, but a cystoscopic examination of the bladder may be performed to rule out a growth but no malignant cells seen on cytology
