My grandfather is 85 years old..he fell down yesterday.he complained about pain in the hip,but it is the knee that is paining..wat can be done?

Evaluation: I would strongly suggests that you have your grandfather evaluated in person. If the pain is significant he very well could have a fracture. Remember pain is very interesting in that it "refers" elsewhere, such that knee issues could refer pain to the hip and the hip issues could refer pain to the knee. Best of luck.

Knee pain=hip injury: Please get his hip X-ray. It is possible to have radiated pain to knee from hip injury as well. Is he able to walk?
