Variable.: That is very individual. If there is an atypical component to depression - I usually start with wellbutrin (bupropion) SR 100mg and increase dose by about 50mg every four days - titrate to response and side effects. I switch over to wellbutrin (bupropion) XL - after we have reached goal dose.
