Meds not the answer: Despite what pharmaceutical advertising would have you believe, medication alone is not adequate treatment for depression. For most people most of the time, the effects of antidepressants are indistinguishable from placebo. Psychotherapy (alone or in combination with meds) is more likely to help you. See a psychologist for regular, ongoing (at least weekly) psychotherapy and get some real help.
