Ganglion or lipoma. : The sensory branch of the radial nerve is in the area & superficial. A mass can compress it. The area or pain or numbness is the top of the thumb and index finger & also the Web space between them. Tapping on the area with Ur index finger should reproduce the symptoms. C a hand surgeon 4 xam& rec.4 treatment. Good luck! No good image available.
