Normal: A laser is a "controlled burn". Should heal in 7-10 days. Keep clean and don't pick at peeling skin. Gentle soap cleaning once a day.

Yes: The laser is directed and highly concentrated light that causes a thermal burn in some cases but if the area does not appear to be healing given the post-laser care advised , then call the healthcare provider that performed the procedure.
