Abdominal pain : I think what position you sleep in has little to do with your abdominal Pain. A lot of time peptic ulcer related pain may exacerbate hours after eating. That's why your pain is occurring while sleeping.... Hours after your last meal... Supper. Get checked for ulcers, gallstones or pancreatic disease. All can present with UPPER (Epigastric) pain. If pain in lower abdomen look for other problems.
