A member asked:

Upon simply standing up, my heart rate can get over 100, and when i start walking around it can get up to 120. is this normal? what could be wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe normal: It maybe normal for you. You need an echocardiogram. Are you anemic? Hyperthyroid? Simple blood tests will determine if those are problems. Nicotine or caffeine, if present, can be responsible. Dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) which you list, is less likely, but may contribute too.
