Don't Be Concerned: The lesion you have, an angiomyolipoma, is a benign lesion which is typically an incidental finding. Sometimes these lesions can be large and have a risk of bleeding. The size of your lesion is very small with little to no risk. Typically no follow-up of these lesions is advised since they do not usually grow or cause any symptoms. When I see these I tell patients there is nothing to worry about.

Don't worry!: Angiomyolipomas are never cancer and rarely require treatment. This one renal solid mass that can be diagnosed entirely my imaging studies. If it meets the criteria for an AML you are 100% safe. If the mass become very large and obstructing it could require removal but that is rare. They never turn to cancer.
