Angiomyolipoma: An angiomyolipom is a benign lesion. It does not turn into cancer. The CT appearance is diagnostic. The US appearance of an echogenic lesion is consistent with this. If an angiomyolipoma is very large there is a risk of bleeding, but at a size of 1cm there is nothing to worry about, and there is no need for any treatment.
