Having tonsillectomy soon. is the surgeon likely to remove adenoids too if enlarged, without me prompting him first? will he look at them?

Although, in general, it is a simple procedure, bleeding may occur and electro-coagulation of of the base of that adenoid needs to be performed. Therefore, the surgeon must have you sign a consent for this additional procedure.
