Foot pain: Cuboid syndrome occurs due to a dislocation of the cuboid bone and can not be diagnosed on xrays but is often diagnosed clinically. If it is indeed cuboid syndrome, the cuboid bone will eventually need to be manipulated back into place and the foot will need to be taped or splinted for a few days along with ice, rest and some anti-inflammatory meds; otherwise, your foot pain will recur.
