A member asked:

I have ulcers on my tonsils & around my mouth. i have seen the doctor and he said it's tonsillitis. is it normal to get ulcers in the mouth for that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mouth ulcers: Doesn't sound like tonsillitis. Sounds like 'aphthous ulcers' or 'canker sores' that can be caused by nutritional or vitamin deficiency, weakened immune system, infection, chronic disease, or unknown causes. Make an appt for an ENT or oral surgeon to examine you.
