Don't be scared: This is standard treatment for pregnancy. The risk of an untreated UTI is far more dangerous to the fetus and yourself than any side effects of the antibiotic. Macrobid is safe in pregnancy.

Macrobid in pregnant: You are very safe to take this antibiotic during pregnancy. It has been thoroughly studied and causes no harm to the fetus. Much riskier is not treating an infection which could lead to you becoming much sicker and even premature labor/pregnancy loss at this point in pregnancy. Take your meds as prescribed!
