Gfr is higher than it should be. dr said they only worry when it goes down. what could cause it to be high?

Not to worry: What does higher than it should be mean? We do expect decline in GFR as we age but there is no set level it should be at a particular age. Sometimes there can be hyperfiltration associated with diabetes mellitus (uncontrolled) but this is less likely.
