See your dentist: You should not take narcotics without a doctor supervision. The pain you are experiencing should be dealt properly by a dentist, take Motrin or Extra strength Tylenol (acetaminophen) if you must but make an appointment to see a dentist ASAP as the pain and or infection will get even worse.

Dental abscess: The only way to cure a dental abscess is with dental treatment. Painkillers and nucytna 50mg is not an answer. We have now entered an era where some bacterial species are resistant to the full range of antibiotics presently available. See your dentist for re-evaluation and dental treatment. Good luck.
