Usually ok: If your child doesn't have an allergy to motrin, it should be safe to give this medication. Make sure that you follow the instructions for dosing and duration of use until you should talk to the pediatrician. If the child is showing signs of serious illness like extreme low energy, too much sleeping or high fevers, call the pediatrician immediately.
