Gastroenterology?: If your doctor or cardiologist are satisfied that the pain is not coming from your heart, you might consider seeing a gastroenterologist for work up of a possible G.I. source of this discomfort. Given the bitter taste and the abdominal discomfort, a G.I. source certainly is possible. Good luck.
