See below: As i understanding it, as an urgent care/emergency physician, pediatric neuropsychology (child neuropsychology) is an area of study involving looking at the relationships of general abilities, behaviors and mental skills (thinking or cognitive functions) in children.

Qualified specialist: This discipline uses the knowledge of psychology and medical interpretation of brain development to help with behavioral issues in children and teens. They are qualified to review CT scans and MRIs to help determine if the problem has a medical base to it. They conduct a complete neurological exam as well as psychological testing and advise if medication may or may not benefit counseling.

Kids Brain Health: Pediatric Neuropsychology is focused on the applied science of brain-behavior relationships in children and adolescents. This knowledge is used by pediatric neuropsychologists in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and/or rehabilitation of patients with neurological, medical, neurodevelopmental and psychological disorders, as well as other cognitive and learning disorders.
