If your 13-year-old does not have diabetes or seizures, it is possible that the elevated GAD65 level is unrelated to any medical condition. However, it would be advisable to consult with a neurologist or endocrinologist to determine if any further testing or monitoring is necessary. These specialists can help evaluate the significance of the elevated GAD65 level and recommend treatment.
